A new boat day is like Christmas to the power of 10x. In all the excitement, though, it is easy to forget items or documents that need to be reviewed to make it a smoother process and less of a "He said, She said" issue later on from a dealer or on a private sale on a used vessel that you can't wait to get home to get it all fitted out or start the rebuild process! 😀
So, drawing upon many years of experience both in the USCG and as an Automotive Service Director, mixed in with some pilot training (few groups employ checklists on a constant basis like Pilots do), we updated a checklist that we posted on another site long ago to make it more current.
